Differential seal leaking - 2008 Grizzly 700 EPS

I was doing some long overdue maintenance on the ATV today and found that the rear seal on the front differential is leaking a fair amount.  Has anyone ever replaced one of these?  Do you have to pull the axles or can you just pull the differential forward and drop the driveshaft out of it?  I wasn't able to find much on this in forums or YouTube; most of it talks about changing out the axle seals. 

Any advise, tips or tricks would be appreciated.

      I am pretty new to ATV/UTV/Small engine repairs and would like input on your absolute must-have specialty tools for maintenance and repairs. Aside from the obvious wrenches and sockets, what are some more specialty type tools you use for troubleshooting? I don't plan to open a repair shop or anything, I just do this as a hobby.       Leaking valve seals?

      Guys, I've got a 1999 Honda Foreman 450S.  It runs great, but smokes out the exhaust after startup until it warms up.  I'm thinking the valve seals are leaking.  I was wondering if there is a way to replace them without removing the head or if there's an oil additive that will recondition the rubber seals.  Any advice?
