1983 Lt125 Brake Job

Hey Forum,

My first post! Been hanging around this great site for awhile and decided to join.

What I could use is repair manual that covers a 1983 Lt 125. Bought this atv while in Alaska in 86 with 3500 miles, four flat tires and no brakes, from a guy from McGrath. After 25 years, I think it is time for some brakes

Any information regarding replacing the brakes, or a repair manaul would be greatly appreciated.

Brake shoes arrived today. Guess I will tear into the rear axle and see how difficult this repair is. Sure would be nice to know how difficult this job is... Any repair manuals out there?

      03 Recon 250TM (Manual) locking up

      O3 sat a while. Engine is running fine. I got it into neutral, did some general tune-up and cleaning then pulled the shifter pedal up and it locked up and will not release into neutral again.  Does anyone have experience with this problem?  Thanks for looking and any help.

      I am missing a cdi box for my 1988 Suzuki quadrunner LT 4WD is there a rplacement box that i can wire into this bike to get it back running beings that the cdi box is no longer made

      Hey, I'm thinking of upgrading my stock sport glide seat with memory foam as a bit of a project. I've seen how some guys use the heavy-duty padding inside the water repellent UTV seat cover fit Polaris Ranger XP 1000 crew for their UTV projects and wanted to try something similar for my bike.
      Has anyone done a DIY foam upgrade and have any tips? What sort of foam density would people recommend, and how easy is it to remove and refit the factory seat cover over the new padding? Any advice gratefully received!

      Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!
