1995 Yamaha Big Bear - Carb ?

I picked up a 95 big bear 4x4 and took the rig to have the carb rebuilt. The mechanic broke the "rod"? that holds the two linkages together in the carb housing. It appears to be plastic. Has anyone experienced this? What can you do to fix it?

      I contacted Suzuki Canada but they have no paper or digital copies in their archives.

      Has anyone found aftermarket CDI for Big Bear 400?

      I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.

      Hi all, does anyone know what type of plastic is used for making ATV fairings.
      In particular Suzuki Quadrunner 1992, if i cannot get a plastic for it in Red for the rear i will attempt repair.
      I have a King Chrome plastic welding kit, however you need to know what type of plastic you are welding.
      Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
