Polaris Sportsman 570 or Honda Rancher 420?

I need some help from you guys to figure out which quad I should buy. I am torn between the 2015 Polaris Sportsman 570 and 2015 Honda Rancher 420 (4x4, electronic shift). They are roughly the same price and seem to have similar features, dont care about power steering on either. Obviously at first glance the Polaris seems better because it is quite a bit more CC for same price. All else equal, what do you think is a better machine? I have always thought of Honda as being superior and "going forever" but I have also heard Polaris has come "a long way" (according to the Polaris sales guy the military uses Polaris). I just do not want to regret in 8 years from now not going Honda.. but am admittedly leaning Polaris. Thanks! Cal.

Tell the dealer about the Berry Amendment. US DoD must give preference to domestic products.

I have not owned either brand, but have worked on a couple of hondas. I am impressed by their quality of build. I also know people who swear by polaris.

I recently got a 450 for hunting versus a bigger bore because I wanted good fuel range. But the steep trails I ride on weighted down with meat and gear makes me wish for more horse power.

What do you intend to to do with the wheeler?
