you would run a wire that is hot when ign is on to your switch then from switch to your solenoid then run a ground wire to solenoid

first off i have 2 parts bikes a 97 kodiak 400 and 97 wolverine 350 and a running 02 big bear 400......i just replaced my piston, cyl. and head with the one off the kodiak 400 but ripped my carb joint(from carb to head). my question is can i use the wolverine 34mm? carb on my big bear that now has a 33mm. they are 2 totally different carbs...wolverine stock has main 145 and big bear has 110 main forget what the pilots are....im thinking it should work but wanted to be sure. the reason i wanted to use that carb is it has a different style joint and i have the joint and its in good condition. any help would be aprreciated thnx

this thread can be deleted i figured it out took half the big bear joint (head side) honed it out to fit on carb side, used the joint off the wolverine and attached it to joint on carb the result was the carb an inch higher and in the center, still works with stock air box with snorkel off, then had to raise the gas tank half an inch using the rubber gas tank mounts off the kodiaks placed under the mounts already on the big bear. all i can say is wow, i guess this quads been slowly going downhill since before i bought it, huge power difference, exhaust sounds crisper, revs quiker, harder in 5th then it did in 3rd before, this things torque and all using used parts
