  1. no plans for the 300 really...i would have gotten it running [took nearly nothing] and sold it for twice what i bought it. only paid 600 for it and it runs like a champ now. but my dad wants it to ride, so whatever is done to it, it will be him doing it, i am not worried about it lol i mean really how much seat time do you think i will have on it when i have that SWEET looking 400ex near it.

im switching pipes on the 400 though.

white brothers r4 coming soon. getting it cheap.

oh and how do you guys like the paint on the exhaust, cases and heat shield? it is holding up good.

  2. hey people... i always drift away from this place for some reason. i do not know why...i love this place, do not know why i stay away. anyway. updates on the project...it is done lol

go it all together, and i bought ANOTHER quad. i got a little 300ex from a guy for 600 bucks. it is a little rough but it runs and rides!!

  3. How would they make adjustable a arms?

idk, just thought it would be a killer idea. for a youth racer...no more 600$ a arms.

would be a sick quad..i think every company should make a 250f class racer.

    ds250r

    outlaw 250

    ltr250

    Kawasaki KFX250R

    idk..they just should..

  4. hey ppl. long time..well not many updates on this..

    lets see where im at..

im about to send the clutch cover, throttle cover, master cylinder cover, and heat shield off for powder coating in candy red.

got the HD cam chain. have yet to put it on,

got some extra tires from someone, stock 20's.

seat cover should be bought soon.

    and a hood. [maybe]

o yeah and i finally got it to start..it was the plug.

header still isnt painted, but it should be done soon.

  5. heyyy people...long time no speak.

progress: painted the heat shield...ordered the cam chain last night, its on express shipping. took off the header, sanded it, and everything, paiting it with heat paint. will also paint the muffler.

tommorow, or today for most of you since its so late, i will do the rest of the sanding, prob start the painting on the header..just a question..since its cold. will that have any effect on the paint drying? what if i put a heater near it? ill do a coat or two of clear on the heat shield..uhhm..prob start tearing more of the 400 down and taking parts off for paint..prob doing some sanding on those items...prob try flipping the rims and see if it makes it any wider, have to measure the bars for a new bar pad..thats about it for tommorow.

    ill keep you guys updated.

heres my heat shield i prepped and painted myself.

  6. we saw that chair at Little Sahara during sandfest 2007... I still want to build a golf cart like this one... it had a 600cc motorcycle engine in it...

from experience on golfcarts at my lakehouse, if you wanna stunt and go fast and do donuts and stuff. widen it out. because they are VERY tippy most of the time.

ive seen numerous drunken injuries from that.

  7. he paid on his own i believe.

but yes i agree about the wolvys. the newer ones..ehh not so much but get an older 5 speed one and they are crazy. this guy at my lakehouse has one and i topped it out and it FLAT OUT GETS IT. probabally the fastest thing down there...untill this summer when i take the 400ex down! =]

but yeah all i know it has done is an HMF pipe, and i think a wiseco piston.

  8. go for a 416 and when you buy a cam chain, save about 60-70 bucks and buy a crf450r cam chain. people i have heard from say the older crf450r cam chain is the exact same as a heavy duty cam chain for a 400ex. since the crf chain is about 35-50 and the 400ex heavy duty chain is about 110. theres an easy save. try FST's 416, its cheaper i think. yeah you will need a heavy duty chain and the crf chain is the same as a heavy duty one, so thats the way to go, i know this because my cam chain is streched and loose! i think this might be a common 400ex problem.
