  3. Tom there just doesnt seem the need for such a rigid quad riding boot being your foot is pretty well protected unlike on a bike where it is completely exposed not to mention you would put your foot down for turns and to stabilize… just my thinking instead of spending more money on a specific boot..

  4. PS i know the difference between motorcross as i used to ride motorcross when i was a teen... Hard shell casing to protect you from rocks and such but notice the ATV boots look lower and not so hard.. they look more like hiking boots

  5. Do you think there is a big difference between an atv boot and a good work/hiking/hunting boot? A construction worker for over 20 years and used to be an avid backpacker so i have been throug many many many boots. Currently have a great pair of boots which are completely water proof yet very breathable although with 800 grams of thinsulate will need non-insulated ones for the summer..

how different are ATV boots constructed than a good work boot?

  7. TB.. not sure of the top end on it never really had it someplace where i could wide open throttle although on some trails hit mid 40's according to GPS. The 500 has much more get up and go on the bottom end for sure and also not sure of top end.. Just got the 500 and have only ridden it twice so far.

Wheeler.. HUnter is a good place to ski although on the weekends tom is right.. from where you will live though you could hit killington up for a weekend or Mad River Glen for some of the east coasts best.

  8. Independently wealth huh:wink: nice... lol meant what you do for work as well silly... do you ride in the Lake Placid / Elizabethtown area at all? some great trails up there.. although just learning where they are myself but seems to be an endless amount of them

have you ridden the trails near Lake George at all?

    Chris
