  1. I have a Honda Recon 250 (2001, I think). I purchased a plow for it this winter with helpful advice from members of the forum and plowing has been a breeze. However, the atv is manual shift and as I am out in the cold plowing, it becomes increasingly difficult to shift into forward gear (lifting up on the lever). I was wondering if this was common in cold weather, and is there a way to adjust the lever or lubricate something in order to prevent the shifting from becoming so difficult. Unfortunately, I have to continuously shift from forward to reverse and back again in order to plow the driveway. Eventually, over time (about 30 minutes) I have to reach down and pull up hard on the shift lever to get back into forward gear. Any suggestions/ideas? (I inherited this atv, my next atv will be automatic). Thanks is advance.
  2. I have a 2001 Honda Foreman that is 2WD. I was considering purchasing a snow plow for it to plow snow in our driveway this winter. A few people have told me that a 2WD will not be able to plow snow. Before I purchase (or not purchase) a plow, I thought I would get some feedback from those of you with more experience. I don't intend on trying to plow 2-foot deep snow, but I was hoping that my 2WD would be able to clear up to 6-8 inch deep snow. Also, my driveway is about 100 feet long with about the last 50 feet declining slightly to the road. Thanks for the feedback.
