OK, I have a spare I can fix. Getting the choke cable off the carb is my only issue in getting it off the machine. After unscrewing the plastic cable cover does the brass piece just unscrew to separate the cable from the carb?
No, plunger should just pull out of the carb and stay on the end of the cable. You may have to use needle nose pliers to twist/turn it out of its bore if its stuck. May need use a little penetrating oil on it and let soak if stuck bad.

So I'm out in the woods using the ATV and I notice a gas smell. Turns out the gas was running out the nipple on the very bottom of the carb. I suspect the float must be stuck so I tap it a few times but the gas is still running out. It flooded the engine and killed it. Any bets on a few more taps freeing it up or will I need to pull it out?
Thanks
You can beat on it till you're blue in the face and it won't fix it. Time to clean and repair the carb.

Some of the Chinese clutches work ok but not sure if they're rebuildable.
I rebuild clutches for around $250 or will buy yours if its not too far gone and is rebuildable

It all depends on what machine you have. They all use mostly the same fluids but in different places depending on the machine

Simple. Put a new choke cable on it

That sounds like a problem in the starter itself. Most likely the brushes are worn and the commutator is dirty. Brushes don't make good contact so several tries may be needed to get it to spin over at times and other times it spins over right away. You can eliminate the solenoid by running a wire directly from the battery and touch the positive post on the starter. If it spins up every time , it can be in the solenoid but if it doesn't spin up every time you do it, it is definitely in the starter. Brushes aren't hard to change. No special tools needed.
I know this is a old thread but jump 12v directly to the starter terminal to check starter function. If good, then jump solenoid terminals. If good, you probably have a wire connections issue or starter button problem.

Yep, That's the speed sensor wires. Looks like your speed sensor is broken off. You'll need a new one. $96 on Partzilla or find a good used one on ebay for about 1/3 that price.
