There is usually a plate that mounts under the quad. What type of plows are these? I have a 2004 grizzly 660.
i'll have to look this weekend. I got busy with Christmas last weekend.
I'm assuming the plate would somewhat resemble a skit plate. My skid plates are plastic.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I promise I did search. I have a grizzly 660. The guy I bought it from gave me two plows. Both have the blade and metal tubes that look like they would go back to the rear of the ATV to attach. The end of the tubes are shaped like a C. I can get pictures this weekend.
My question is how does it attach to the quad. I feel like I may be missing a piece that permanently mounts to the quad. I do have a winch.
I'm not even sure if they are the correct plows for the quad.

I put a 2x6 about 3 feet long on the bead with one end on the ground and drive my truck up the board like a ramp. Usually pops the bead right off.
that method didn't work for me

i purchased a cheap chinese carb for my Grizzly. I opened it up to check the jets. They were way off. No way the thing would have ran well. I ordered and put the correct jets in it. It runs fine.
Oh and the float level was also off. If you go with the cheap ones, go through it.

@Matv88 Polaris is notorious for running lean. You're on the right track to adjust the idle fuel screw a bit, it'll be happier for it. Might also bump the needle up a notch for a bit more air at WOT, which would give a bit more fuel. Those things run so lean sometimes the header will glow read. Stupid US emissions crap ruins them.
thanks. i'll play with the needle after the idle fuel

thanks but it doesn't need a rebuild. Just a tune

I imagine that keeping 4 of these machines maintained and running accounts fir a lot of your free time. Fun though, isn’t it.

From NJ. I resurrected a Grizzly 660 that didn't run for about 10 years. Wife has a polaris and kids have Polaris youth ATVs.

Bought it new for my son. Pretty unhappy. Very very very lean at idle. Then there were a few things the dealer should have done during assembly including choke cable adjustment and rear brake adjustment.
I'm going to drill out the tamper proof plug and adjust the idle/air screw to see if that helps.
