  1. i use a garmin GPSMap 62. I keep it stowed away but it is there if I get lost. Cell service is spotty where I ride
  2. i'll have to look this weekend. I got busy with Christmas last weekend. I'm assuming the plate would somewhat resemble a skit plate. My skid plates are plastic.
  3. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I promise I did search. I have a grizzly 660. The guy I bought it from gave me two plows. Both have the blade and metal tubes that look like they would go back to the rear of the ATV to attach. The end of the tubes are shaped like a C. I can get pictures this weekend. My question is how does it attach to the quad. I feel like I may be missing a piece that permanently mounts to the quad. I do have a winch. I'm not even sure if they are the correct plows for the quad.
  4. i purchased a cheap chinese carb for my Grizzly. I opened it up to check the jets. They were way off. No way the thing would have ran well. I ordered and put the correct jets in it. It runs fine. Oh and the float level was also off. If you go with the cheap ones, go through it.
  5. thanks. i'll play with the needle after the idle fuel
  6. if you go to a website called www.Vintagesnow.com it has hundred of free snowmobile service manuals from 1970 to 1999

  7. thanks but it doesn't need a rebuild. Just a tune
  8. I do to.  Rode motorcycles for years and wrenched on them.  Gave that up, too many soccer moms not paying attention to what was around them.  Decided not to become a statistic and gave up motorcycle riding.  Still miss it though.  Got into 4 wheeling strictly for hunting but will probably take advantage of the trails available in PA next year.

  9. i like working on things. It is a hobby. Wifes i bought needing a new top end. Runs like a top now. One sons is brand new. the other is a 2002.
  10. From NJ. I resurrected a Grizzly 660 that didn't run for about 10 years. Wife has a polaris and kids have Polaris youth ATVs.
  11. Bought it new for my son. Pretty unhappy. Very very very lean at idle. Then there were a few things the dealer should have done during assembly including choke cable adjustment and rear brake adjustment. I'm going to drill out the tamper proof plug and adjust the idle/air screw to see if that helps.
