  1. I have several quads and will soon need to replace tires. I typically like to have a complete set mounted and ready to swap out for different kinds of riding but haven't done that yet. What do you recommend and where have you purchased them? 2020 Polaris Sportsman 2013 John Deere Gator 2010 Polaris
  2. Ok, I'm not trying to start an out of control thread, however I am interested in how often and what products you use for oil changes. On all my vehicles I change oil at least as often as recommended by the manufacturer and use the recommended products or better. That is where the debate should get interesting. On my '20 Polaris 850, I use the Polaris recommended oil and filter and change once a year or more often depending on hours of operation. In my trucks, I use Mobil full synthetic until I get them over 100K then I'll use a blend or high mileage oil--Valvoline or Mobil or NAPA. Since I'm in NM Montana I use 0W20 to 5W30. Would like to hear what you're using.
  3. Read several articles about greasing Polaris ATVs. Seems they change quite a bit year to year. Add links to your specific machine to help each other out. I found the following link to be helpful for my 2020 Sportsman Touring 850 HO. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/2140243/Polaris-Sportsman-850.html?page=39
  4. Lots of good answers here. I'd look at a Farm Store (Murdochs, Big R, Rural King, Tractor Supply, etc) for the least expensive ones that it'll work and resize to fit. I know it will cost more but it might not be a bad idea to have and extra set of wheels and tires. Just a thought.
  5. Trying to see if there would be any interest in either or both of these groups. I was surprised there was not already a Polaris Club--there could be so many sub-clubs...
  6. Hello, I'm new to this site. Looks like it'll be a great resource to find answers or place to post things I've learned. I ride a 2020 Polaris Sportsman 850 Touring. Use it a lot. Have a plow for the driveway and a winch to drag logs out to cut. Jeff
  7. Depends on the state, but we're able to ride on the road here in Montana--with tags, mirrors, signals, etc... I'm sure a lot of folks do--just be careful of people in cars/suvs. Had a guy try to pass me on the left when I was making a left turn. I had my signal on but that didn't matter to him.
  8. No, I don't think so. If you do, you risk the bead breaking and having a flat. Stick to the recommended tire pressures. As the previous person stated, you'll get better traction with 3-5 PSI.
  9. 1st girl friends brother had a Honda dirt bike and a three wheeler. I'd sure like to have one of those three-wheelers. Then the Air Force got me hooked on Polaris quads and snow mobiles.
  10. I currently use ramps for my Polaris Sportsman 850 but would consider using this lift. Interested in what anyone who owns one. There was a time when HF was junk but I'm impressed with everything I've bought from them over the past 10 years. Their return policy is pretty good.
