  1. Update on the front struts from Canada. They work great but are 7/8” longer than what was on there. The tires lean out slightly at the top but it’s fine. Had to bend the bottom edge for more clearance from the cv axle.
  2. Alright guys. I need some help with this rear shock. The one I thought would work is two inches too long. I’ve removed the old shock. It’s 360 mm eye to eye or 14-1/8”, set on the highest setting. The eyelets are 12mm or .459” the spring which may nor be a big deal is .366” sorry didn’t get a metric measurement. And the body of the shock is 1.5” and some change. The width of the top eyelet is 40mm and the bottom is 45 mm. The biggest problem I’m having is finding that length matched with a 12mm eyelet. I could get one with 10 mm eyelets but then I’d have slop in the anchor points in the quad using 10mm bolts.
  3. 1996 4x4 Timberwolf rearend width. Can someone with some knowledge of these machines answer this question for me please. Are all 4x4 timberwolves this narrow in the rearend? These tires are so close the right one actually rubs the muffler. Thinking about seeing if there are any spacers out there for it. I need at least an inch more clearance. .
  4. https://crossroadscycle.net/shop/1992-1998-yamaha-timberwolf-front-shock-absorber/ Somehow I found new struts in Nova Scotia Canada. Called the guy up there and he said yep they were actually new. I would guess there new-old stock. Would have to be.
  5. I think I found a rear shock that matches. The front struts were completely discontinued, no one is making them.
  6. I’ve sort of done that for the struts by looking them up on parts diagrams not the actual stamped part number on the strut. All I can find are used on eBay not sure they’d be much better than mine. I will do that. Thanks for the advice
  7. Hello I’m new here and was wondering is anyone knew of good replacement part numbers for front struts and rear shocks for this atv? I think I’ve found a new rear shock, that looks like the original but there is no dimensions or anything and was wondering if there are any afterMarket new front struts available. I know it’s a long shot but any help would be appreciated.
