It's shaft driven. The oil pump is also gear driven. Thanks, Pete

My engine seems to be making a chirp down by the oil pump area. Definitely a rotational noise. Has anybody else had this problem? It also seems to stall when it's cold and you try to rev the engine a little. Almost like it is seizing up. After it warms up it runs perfectly. Still has the chirp though. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Pete
