In New York state its a BIG no no to ride on/cross any public road, paved or dirt.

The part that is even a little more infuriating is that even through can't ride on the roads you still have to register your ATV and get a license plate!

As I understand many choose not to get it registered, but if it ever gets stolen and you call the police the first question from them is going to be what's the registration/plate number? Oooops if you don't have that info!

Yep, NY is a big no no unless you hit a trail system upstate.

  2. Congrats on the quad, thats a great price. You can't go wrong there. You could resell it now for much more. From the pic, it looks pretty good. I would search around for a cheap exhaust, used maybe from ebay. Is that the fuel petcock leaking? If so, they are cheap on amazon:

    Kawasaki Bayou Fuel Petcock

Look for the pull start online as well, shoudn't be too much. Change the oil/filter.

The Washington Post’s forensic findings are unlikely to resolve that debate, offering instead only the limited revelation that some of the data on the portable drive appears to be authentic.

At some point, left wingers will not be able to spin this stuff, its just getting to difficult to protect the Bidens. Even if the word "the" was authenticated as Hunter's, it pours cold water on your doubt mentioned earlier, that's all I was pointing out. Every democrat and left leaning media pundit were so quick to say no its not his....just saying. Kind of hard to argue and say the Russians planted it there.

Enjoy your alternate universe you three.  I prefer the real one.

I respect that you think its an alternate universe, but your "real one" seems to be breaking at the seems and crumbling. What happens next is more and more people start waking up. Just look at the superbowl last night, Maybe 5% of people masking. People want freedom to do whatever they want. Once you take that away, you have problems.

It's not an alternate universe to see that you take a vaccine that doesn't last but you only afford freedoms to those that take it....it's funky. It would be a different narrative if it was a "one and done" vaccine. Its not and that's the root of the problem.

Because they disagree with government propaganda?

And because they don't agree with the left leaning naratives that aim to destroy the country. There is a reason those shows have higher ratings, its because more people can relate and more people prefer to live in a free and safe society. Freedom will always win, a normal person who wants a good life will not voluntarily give up freedoms, safety, and opportunity. If you shovel down people's throats things like defund police and side with BLM violence, "allowable" crime, mandates, the normal/common person will say, wait...what? I believe its just gone too far during this pandemic. It needs to end, which is why I side with truckers and anyone else who wants to preserve their choices and freedoms, in any country.

Back to the China Virus...glad to see these democrat governers removing mask mandates even if Grandpa Joe thinks its premature and so does CNN.

Now we are going to see a trickle down effect like:

    image.png.686fb5748ba4778e4bca52bc1fb2c8fe.png

Here's what's interesting...so if a Walmart employee got vaccinated and then boosted in September lets say...They should be good to take off that mask, right? But wait... let me count the months here... do they have to get a 4th booster in February after it starts to wane? I don't get it....and I think others don't as well. How many shots is everyone willing to take? 1, 2, 4, 8? What's your comfort zone?

  6. Here's what's troubling if you monitor other countries, which you can do via the WHO dashboard https://covid19.who.int/

Israel is usually on the forefront of boosters and ahead in its covid response. They are a highly vaccinated country and now its spiking again.

They just boosted a lot of people in the fall...

If you get away from US news for a moment and read what other countries post, headlines like these are troubling (if factually accurate)  https://www.riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/modern-day-censorship/80-of-serious-covid-cases-in-israel-fully-vaccinated/

Eventually you run out of unvaccinated to blame.

To this point…it’s good that fewer are critical, but can we agree that hospitals are not being overrun by the unvaccinated and it’s no longer a “pandemic of the unvaccinated”? It’s getting pretty silly for the media to fixate on the unvaccinated in the US. Everyone knows that vaccinated are getting sick as well at this point and are spreaders just as much.

CDC: More vaccinated adults hospitalized with omicron, but fewer admitted to ICU

A higher proportion of adults hospitalized with COVID-19 during the period of omicron dominance were fully vaccinated compared to the period of delta dominance, according to a new analysis, but those people were also less likely to be severely ill or die.

Both the Pfizer and  Moderna vaccines have full FDA approval. They were taken out of the "emergency  use"  category  quite some time ago.

Here in the states Moderna only received full FDA approval on Monday.

Am I wrong, if the vaccine is supposed to prevent, why should those vaccinated be worried about the un Vaccinated? I am asking this question honestly and without sarcasm.

Agreed. Its the craziest thing ever. The issue is that it does not prevent the spread. Eventually you run out of unvaccinated to blame. The last 12 people I know who got covid, 10 vaccinated, 2 not. All are good thankfully.  To each their own, the good thing is that a vaccine exists for those who want it. The bad thing is that it does not stop transmission and has waning efficacy. What do you do with everyone who just got boosted next September? Boost again and again? Many vaccine takers are not for that and signing up to a yearly booster campaign. We really don't know the long term effects of that. There is a lot of steam on Novavax, which I think will be an option for those who don't want mrna, its more tried and true technology. Again, the good thing is that we have these things, the bad is that they don't last or prevent transmission. Just my $0.02 since you all started posting again on the topic. Hope everyone is well!

  9. I heard from two people at work yesterday that shared stories of someone sick in the ER and had the vaccine.  Another one has a sister that works in the ER and a majority of the sick are vaccinated according to her but its not being reported, for whatever reason. I think what's happening is that people that got the vaccine 4-6+ months ago are getting sick and the the GOV knows this, hence the boosters. Everyday the media reports on someone famous getting ill and was vaccinated. Its all over twitter and facebook as well, which changes the narrative and reduces public trust. I even think someone sent out a "memo" to the media to stop saying the "pandemic of the unvaccinated" because we don't hear it as much the past two weeks because the eye opener is that the vaccinated are getting sick. It's a problem and people are pissed.

The video is 8 hours long, but if you click on the link, it will take you to time index 4:09:24 where they discuss the VAERS database and around 4:24:10 they discuss "excess deaths" This is very concerning!

Thanks for posting this. Looks like this is the latest meeting that drove the decisions about booster shots (Sorry Biden). It is concerning and you won't hear this in the media. What is also concerning is the the fact that she says vaccinations are driving the variants. It does seem to me like vaccination is not the best path forward and I would shift focus on therapeutics (Grandpa Joe is rationing those for some reason...). People are just used to getting a "vaccine" and never worrying about it again, this is not that. You don't get a shot and are covered for life, clearly. Plus it wanes and wanes, so we will live on boosters forever? Not a good strategy.

The vaccine is Russian Roulette.  If it's injected into muscle tissue you'll probably be ok, but if the nurse happens to hit a vein and the vaccine gets into the blood you will have blood clots, guaranteed.  I saw demonstrations where spike proteins added to blood caused coagulation instantly.  Since it's random chance where the vaccine goes, then getting the vaccine is playing Russian Roulette.

Yes I read this as well. They are looking at an inhaled vaccine in the future.

In the spirit of research, watch Israel and other highly vaxxed nations. This is what the US can expect. Go to the source, the WHO. Its their site and their data: https://covid19.who.int/region/euro/country/il

Make your own determinations but my guess is it may be a bad fall/winter as people move indoors in the US.

I posted directly from the CDC about masks not working and you still refuse to believe anything that contradicts your religion.  Right here: https://www.quadcrazy.com/atvforum/topic/15214-2020-presidential-election-discussion-thread/?do=findComment&comment=115618

CDC says masks do not work.

    Dave says ask the CDC

CDC says masks do not work.

    Dave says ask the CDC.

Do you have a cognitive disability that I should accommodate?

Why can you not recognize when I quote directly from the CDC?

    CDC says:

In our systematic review, we identified 10 RCTs that reported estimates of the effectiveness of face masks in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza virus infections in the community from literature published during 1946–July 27, 2018. In pooled analysis, we found no significant reduction in influenza transmission with the use of face masks (RR 0.78, 95% CI 0.51–1.20; I2 = 30%, p = 0.25).  Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.  https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/5/19-0994_article  <--- CDC dot GOV

Isn't this the flu though? COVID is supposedly much more transmissible. The point with masks is if you are breathing out a virus, you are less likely to spread it.
