Thought I would post photos of my quads - jst for the heck of it. After all, I did finally wash the winter mud off them. I use them around the property for work and ride the many trails my buddy and I have made for fun. Of course the grand kids (teens) like to ride them when they come down. Nothing fancy - just basic quads. 2008 Yamaha Grizzly 350 and 2003 Kawasaki Prairie 360. I recently put a pair of driving lights on the Yamaha. Had the laying around and decided to get some use out of them.

My daughter is a Navy Lieutenant (Captain in the other services). She served an 8 month carrier tour in the Persain Gulf last year. She was the Intelligence Officer for an F/A-18 Super Hornet squadron. She is currently stationed in San Deigo in another unit. She was recently put on notice she might be picked for a year long assignment in Iraq. Of course I understand you go where the military tells you to go, but as a Dad I did not want her over there. The Good News is - she is not going. Yeah! I am indeed a happy Dad. -

I have been wanting to add a third quad to my stable. When the "kids" visit the farm we have four adults and two teens, plus possible boy friend/girl friend for each teen. Another quad would help a little. Ended up buying a new riding mower instead. I have 60 acres. I brush hog about 5 acres and mow about 3 acres. The rest is woods with a stock tank and creek. I want to increase the area I mow with the riding mower. My little mower couldn't cut it, so I bought a 54 mower with 26 HP and a 54" cut. I really like new stuff. The new mower works great and cuts down on mowing time a great deal. -
Thank you for the welcome Greenie. I spent some time at Carlisle Barracks, PA many years ago. Beautiful area! Had a great winter (with actual snow) there too. We don't get a lot of snow in my area.

I am from the Dallas area, but I ride mostly on some property I have in S.E. Texas near Cedar Creek Lake. I have a 2008 Yamaha Grizzly 350 and a 2002 Kawasaki Prairie 360. Looking forward to the forum.
