I have a problem with the quad losing engine braking down hill and just free wheeling. When I start a decent the engine braking is active but then disengages after a few seconds allowing the quad to free wheel. This forces me to use the manual brakes to control the speed. Once the speed is slow enough the engine braking is active again, but will quickly disengage after a few more meters. I'm guessing this is a transmission issue of some sort. Can anyone confirm this and suggest a solution. Thanks.
