Freedomflyer Posted May 14, 2016 Author #2 Posted May 14, 2016 Guy I bought this from obviously didn't know what general maintenance was:no: Quote
Freedomflyer Posted May 14, 2016 Author #3 Posted May 14, 2016 Some TLC and time. Heard a ticking while running didn't like the sound took it to the dealership. No good news needs top end rebuild. In shop now so working on parts.. Not sure what else they are going to find, it is a 2013 so worth fixing. They tore into the top end and discovered scoring on the cylinder walls, were able to hone it within factory specs. Parts showed up last Friday hopefully by end of next week they will have it back together. Hoping that is all that is wrong, only other thing they said it could be would be cam chain but thought this top end work would take care of it. I guess I'll see. Quote
Freedomflyer Posted May 14, 2016 Author #4 Posted May 14, 2016 Amazing how much time all this little crap takes, masking took about hour and a half taking of less than five minutes. Quote
Freedomflyer Posted May 14, 2016 Author #5 Posted May 14, 2016 Took the wheels to the dealership and switched out the wheels from my other Rancher and just finished painting those as well. Will put the other one back together when I get home from this Work rotation. Quote
Ajmboy Posted January 15, 2017 #6 Posted January 15, 2017 Did you ever finish this? Looks like a nice job all around. Quote
freedomflyer63 Posted January 16, 2017 #7 Posted January 16, 2017 Thanks I did, actually two of them in my avatar. Was a lot of fun to see the progress, but way more fun to ride them 1 Quote
