2004 Yamaha Beartracker 250 gearcase plug oil leak

Hey everyone I cant seem to find any answers to my problem, hoping for some help. I have a 2004 Yamaha Beartracker 250. I have an issue where my plug (don’t know name) on the middle top back of gear case where the transmission halves merge was leaking. I was actually able to push it down but it comes back up from presssure when engine cranked. The snap ring that holds the plug doesnt look like original but i put an O ring under it to hold pressure and it literally blew the whole plug off from pressure. My question is: is this plug suppose to have a lot of pressure under it like this? And what is the purpose of this plug and what is directly under it to cause so much pressure? The manual or any parts diagram doesnt acknowledge this plug or the snap ring holding it so im real puzzled at all this. I can see oil when plug came out and the oil level slowly goes back down into engine when not running. My PVC valve is hooked up and patent as should be and my gear box vent and hose is hooked up and just freely open to air. No oil comes out of any of the other hoses and this oil leak/ pressure problem has happened with low oil and when engine full of oil. Any help with this is greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!  Pictures of plug attached.

So I have an 89 Yamaha moto 4 250cc and when I ride it, itll get hot after like 10-15 mins and then will just die and turn off.
It's has new carb rebuild, new air filter, new battery, new spark plug so I don't think it's a crack in the spark plug
      Can anyone help me?

Starting this build thread to keep up with everything on my build and hope to motivate someone!

I picked up this 2008 Yamaha Big Bear 250 2 weeks ago. A guy that I hunt with parked it at the hunt club for a year or so before I asked him if he wanted to sell. He said " fill my feeder and throw some batteries in my cameras, and you can have it". Sounds like a deal to me!
I have attached some pictures of how it sat under a tarp in the woods and when I got it home and cleaned up a little.

Hello, im looking for some input on this situation i have. My 94 Mojave has no spark, and i have no idea what it is. Ive replaced/tested the magneto, the pickup coil, cdi, the ignition coil. Even the key and Killswitch. I haven't tested the harness its self, but i have tried another harness and still nothing. The only thing i can think of is the fly wheel itself. I have found a lot of metal shavings in the fly wheel and have cleaned it the best I could. But nothing happened afterwards. I am truly stumped here and hoping some of yous could shed some knowledge/ideas that could help get this thing to fire.

Hi, I am having issues with my TRX350D fuel pump.  It suddenly stopped running so I have replaced all the fuses and cleaned all the terminals.  I have fitted a new pump, fuel cut-off relay and rectifier.  Still nothing!!  The pump runs when attached to a battery.  The engine will start on the choke and the filter fills with fuel but it will  not rev and dies when the choke is closed. I have power to the relay but nothing at the pump black/white wire when cranking the engine.  Any ideas where to go from here would be very much appreciated!!
