Polaris 500 Predator I need some help!!!

We just got a Polaris 500 Predator yesterday, and today it started missing really bad, and there was a significant amount of oil in the air filter box. No smoke is coming out of the exhaust. Please help as to what you think it might be!!!

I have no Idea what these bikes are......

Soooo,,,,Answerer some questions for me first....

2 or 4 Stroke.....????

Stock Air Filter?????

What Color is the oil???

What is your Idea of Significant????

Was the Plug Fouled at all???

Is there a Breather in your Air box that is plugged?????

Did you Ride any Prolonged Wheelies???

Was it Stored on the AS* END????

OK, we found out what it was...We need a new air filter:confused: We ran it without it for a few minutes up the road without the air filter, and it ran like a scalded dog, which is more like it.:yes:

Hey guys, sorry it took so long to respond. It was a stock filter, but now we have a K&N. The oil in the airbox was because the motor oil was over full, and the overflow tube goes to the airbox. Thanks for all the comments anyway!:wink:

      2006 Polaris Sawtooth No Spark

      Hello all, I have a 2006 Polaris Sawtooth with no spark. It has a dead battery but with a jump pack on it, it will still not Spark. Plug is good, Throttle ETC is not closed, Stator pick up coil seems to Ohm out in the correct range, Unsure how to properly check the CDI. And when ignition is on the Neutral and reverse light come on but after cranking just the neutral stays on. 
       
      Any help would be great,

      oil for air filter?

      Hi everyone, first and foremost, I want to thank everyone for all the help I've received. I am so glad I found this community. I also wanna apologize if I'm spamming the forum, I come up with questions as I go, I guess lol. So when I got my Recon, the air box was missing the lid, held together by zip ties, and the filter was ripped and nasty. I have since ordered a new air box assembly. It comes with everything: the box,  lid, and filter ( the insert and the foam), and all the hardware necessary. This is the first time I've seen a metal filter inside a foam filter lol. However, my question is, I have read that you have to oil these filters? Every time I read it, it was always skimmed over, and I could not remember where I had read it. Is there a certain oil needed for this? Is the filter washable and reusable? Do I just stick the filter in oil, lol? Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question. Thanks in advance, y'all!

      Bell Crank Orentation 2000 Polaris Scrambler 400 2x4

      Does anyone know  the orientation of the bell crank for scrambler 400 2x4 it was not hooked up when I bought quad the way  i put it high goes into reverse and vise versa I flipped it 180 but that put  the shift rod at big angle and it just kinda grinds into gears so dnt think that is right either pretty sure it has to be the exact orientation and the rod adjusted accordingly but I cant seem to find it anyone knows please help
