Anyone ever use or have any experience with aftermarket carbs, specifically one for the 500 Vinsons? Just ordered one off Amazon. Gonna give it a try. 47.00 bucks vs 600.00+ for OEM. Any thoughts or previous experiences? thanks, Fireslayer.

Not much experience but what I have bought have always needed retuning, sometimes quite a bit, and even if the carby was being sold for the very specific model quad.

I suspect though that even if you bought a carby off the manufacturer, it might be a compromised tune made to fit a bike in any market, and probably needing tuning for your fuel and altitude etc.

If it doesn't run good, fit your old jets and needle and everything if it can be done, if the new carb is the same make as the old.

I posted a video of a guy on u tube installing one on a Vinson, his seemed to work out well, but I haven't had good luck with them, I am in the process of going back to OEM on all my bikes that I bought used with Aftermarket carbs on them. Hope yours is good.

I just bought a 1984 Suzuki LT185 ATV and am looking for the OWNER’S manual. ( not a service manual)
I contacted Suzuki Canada but they have no paper or digital copies in their archives.
Does anyone possibly have a digital copy they’d be willing to share?

      Hello there
I'm having a problem finding a quality carburetor for a 1993 Suzuki Quad Runner lt-f 250 2x4. I find a lot that have 3-4 star ratings. And all so far don't have the right throttle Cable inlet at the top. The last one I got 4 star on Amazon has a threaded cable sheath rest that could be partially drilled to work. I would prefer to get one I don't have to modify. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.
