1999 Bayou 220 oil leak from bevel gear housing.

I have oil leaking from the bevel gear housing and found what I believe to be the oil seal damaged and ordered new seal.  When looking at the diagram it show the oil seal on the outside of the housing between the housing and drrive shaft.  My question is shouldn't is be in the housing?

Could you look the part up and post a picture showing which seal it is you mean ?

Generally seals are fitted into housings, and they are generally the last thing after all the shims and bearings and gears or anything else that may be in there..

      Leaking valve seals?

      Guys, I've got a 1999 Honda Foreman 450S.  It runs great, but smokes out the exhaust after startup until it warms up.  I'm thinking the valve seals are leaking.  I was wondering if there is a way to replace them without removing the head or if there's an oil additive that will recondition the rubber seals.  Any advice?

      Has anyone found aftermarket CDI for Big Bear 400?

      I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.

      As the title says I am on the search for a used OEM 1995 King Quad Carb. I believe it says Mikuni on the side. If you could even help me find info on which carb it is exactly that would be helpful too, or motorcycles/other quads that use the same carb. Thanks!
