My front brakes started dragging and the lever travel was minimal. I bled them and topped off the fluid reservoir and they worked great for a while and now the problem has returned. I'm thinking that a piston may be sticking. Any thoughts on this problem?

If it's only one wheel then it may be a piston sticking or it may be the hose to that wheel. Undo a brake bleeder and see if they free up, if they do, it's not the caliper pistons. If only one side frees up then the other side has a blocked hose going to it's wheel. If they both free up then pump the brakes till they start dragging again then undo the hose up at the master cylinder and see if that also releases them. If undoing the hose there doesn't release the brakes then you have a blocked hose going from the bars to the frame.

The hoses can get blocked or get a flap of rubber that only lets fluid go one way. The master cylinder applies hundreds of pounds of pressure and forces fluid through a blockage, but the pistons only rely on the flexing of their rubber seals to push the piston and fluid back once you let the brakes off and it's not strong enough to fully return the pistons if the hose's partially blocked.

i just bought a yamaha moto 4, i have sprayed 'start ya barstard' into the carb and on the spark plug and it doesnt even fire! although when i have the spark plug on the outside of the motor it shows spark, the engine also leaks oil from the starter,

I have a rancher 420 TM that since i bought it has a cold hard shift problem beyond a doubt clutch is not releasing by shift lever. After it gets good and hot it shifts ok. Tried preloading adjustment screw clutch releases and shifts smooth but slips. Have had the clutch out and apart twice for inspection and didnt see anything wrong. Any tips will be appreciated. I've ran out of things to try instead of throwing new parts at it.

Bought the project a few weeks ago with weak and intermittent spark. I could smack the CDI box with a screwdriver and it would work fine for a few days. Now, the smack trick is not working and machine is running awful with the weak spark and will most often not fire enough to turn the engine over through combustion (cranks very good). I ordered the GY6 CDI to see if I can get it going again as these CDI boxes are way too expensive even used. battery is fully charged and charging very good.

Wondering if anyone knows how the GY6 (6-pin AC) CDI would wire to this machine. Attached is the electrical diagram. My confusion is with the green and orange wires sharing the 2-pin connector and the Blk/Red wire that runs to the magneto solo. How would I get AC power to the CDI through pin 1 on the GY6 when the CDI has two wires to the pickup-myabe just try one (orange then green) at a time?

So i bought a chinese carb and in messing around still trying to get it to run right i figured id pull the spark plug to see if it was running rich, well it was definitely but also i have a nasty mark on the strap (i think thats what its called) that looks like the piston has been smacking it. I never actually pulled the plug because i had it running for a second on starter fluid when i first bought it and was just stupid and figured whatever was in there was good. The part number on it is DPR7EA, which is similar to what is called out for in the manual but i assume the little bit off that the code is means it must be a bit longer or something. Unless the plugs are made like this, but i can pretty easily see that metal has been pushed away from the area of impact. What are the odds that my piston is trashed now you think? It does still run just not well due to carb issues but thats a whole other problem.

Actually i just took a second to google both plugs and it says the reach is the same its just different resistor values and gap size, so maybe the bigger gap is why its hitting. Either way the actual one for it is on the way and i hope it just didnt do to much damage. Wish i woulda just went over the whole thing like i normally do with this stuff.
