My father and I were over visiting a friend of ours the other day and I took some pics of some of the projects he is working on. He has developed a fetish for putting blown Hemis in whatever he can get his hands on. He even has a supercharger for his lawn mower.

This is one of his dragsters, it is powered by a blown, alcohol injected, Arias motor, which is essentially an aftermarket big block Chevy with Hemi heads. The motor makes about 2500hp with a 29% overdrive on a Littlefield 14-71 blower running 30lbs of boost. He is planning on stepping up to a 50% overdrive on the blower and getting another 10lbs of boost and a couple hundred more hp. I believe this thing runs somewhere in the 5 second range at around 270mph.

This is a Hemi Falcon project.

This is my favorite one, it is a Ford Econoline pickup with a yet another blown Hemi in a mid engine setup with a shortened Powerglide tranny. The driveline is going to be all of 4 inches long.

I've got a 1995 220 Bayou and the electric start does not work.  When I got it the machine was pretty rough but I was told it ran less than a year ago.  The key switch had been cut off and wires  twisted after the key was lost.  I bought a new ignition switch and repaired the wiring and it is working correctly.  It is in neutral and the neutral light is on when the key is turned on but I get nothing when pressing the start button.  I verified there is no voltage going to the starter from the solenoid.  The fuse in the solenoid is good.  Something I found that is odd is that I get positive voltage(12 volts) to the brown, black, and white wires that run into the solenoid when the key is on.  That doesn't make sense to me but I could be wrong.  I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you in advance.

I bought this from a buddy to plow snow up in the North Eastern Washington- its been getting oil in the water and I've been changing the oil often and adding collant as necessary-
I've taken the stator cover off and I'm looking at the Oil Seal and water pump seal and they look good- Although I've ordered a factory oil Seal I'm looking at putting it in this afternoon-
I don't have the factory service manual- am I suppose to Add RTV to the Stator cover Gasket? I've seen some folks suggest grease other suggest RTV?

Any suggestions here- I'm trying to reassemble it tonight- I looked at downloading the manual but need to get up to 10 posts firsts it looks like-

I appreciate any suggestions- normally I'm a jeep and honda dirt bike guy- but  I got a good deal on the quad and a plow so I went for it
Its got a bit over 3K and runs pretty good- but I've had her tore apart for 3 weeks to figure out the oil in the coolant issue.

2022 Sector 550, 414 miles on it and the gas gauge reads empty.  I topped off the gas and it didn't change.
There is no fuse that I could find.  No access at the gauge cluster.
Wiring on the top of the tank looks good, properly connected.
Could the sending unit in the tank be stuck or broken?
Has anybody removed the tank lid?  Any tricks?
      Any other ideas?
      Thanks for any help,
      Clyde

Hey everyone, recent new-to-me ATV owner/rider.

I have a 2003 Bombardier 650 4x4 Quest and recently my speedo just decided to stop working. The odometer doesn't tick up either but that makes sense considering it thinks I'm going 0mph all the time. I found some links online that mentioned there was a speed sensor to the right of the oil dip but after taking it apart I didn't see anything that looked like what Google images says a speed sensor would be.

The speedo itself moves to 0mph from the off position when turning it on, the backlight for the speedo turns on, and I can switch between trip mileage and hours. The machine itself rides fine as far as I can tell with no bad effects from it. I tried to find a service manual online but it linked me to a bunch of shady sites and I wasn't trying to get scammed out of $15 each until I find one that is actually legit.

Has anyone had a similar issue and knows what the fix would be, or where I should actually be looking for the speed sensor? Or at least point me towards a reputable site for a service manual that might better explain where/what to look for?
