I live in Wisconsin, and we have hit the ice once already this year. Nice pan fish this year bigger than the hand, really good eating.

Are you talking about Blue Gills? We don't get the chance to fish for them in Alberta, the only panfish we have here is Perch. But I'd like to have the chance to fish for them someday. If you could, send me some pictures of some of your catches, and I'll post them on my website. It's allways good to learn what people are catching from different areas of the ice belt. Ya we are catching blue gills, black crappies,Perch. they all make good dinners

I fish alot of walleyes, northerns.
