I have a 1997 Wolverine. I went to go riding yesterday and it started right up, I drove it off the trailer and had it sitting there running while I put the ramps and tie down straps away. All of a sudden the wheeler died. I was thinking that the thing had just choked out, but after that it would never re-start. I checked the fuel and it was good. Checked for spark and it is there. Any one have any ideas on what could have happened while it was running to cause this problem?

Souns like you checked the obvious, fuel and spark. It does sound like maybe it ran out of fuel...Does it have a fuel shutoff petcock switch? Are you positive there is fuel in the carb bowl?

I took off the fuel line and made sure it was flowing past the filter and it had good flow. Not postive, but pretty sure it is going into the carb. Haven't pulled it apart to check though.

UPDATE! Figured it out. Turns out my sparkplug fouled while I was warming up the machine! I would have never thought the plug would fail (being a four stroke) as it was idling, but I checked the spark holding the plug up to the head and it wouldn't jump the gap. I swapped out the plug and it fired right up. Goes to show you (Mostly ME) that you always gotta check the basics before you assume the worst.

      Hello,

Pondering on what would be better in terms of practicality vs. money spent. The ATV will be a small 125 cc Chinese brand that can be fully contained in a small euro-van (VW Caddy)

      1. Load the ATV on a trailer while riding it.
Need to buy the ATV + hook + trailer (+ ramp?) and work on the car to mount the tow hook, of course.
Perhaps I can find a trailer than can do this -
Side question: what sort of mechanism that allows such loading is that, or, in other words, what sort of trailer am I looking for ?

      2. Load the ATV inside the mini-van.
Need to buy the ATV + ramp.
Also need to push it inside as riding it won't be possible. The thing will weight some 100 kilos, about 1.5 times my body weight. I shall go for the longest ramps that will fit into the van, but still, not sure I can push it in and pull it out of the van without cursing my life - if at all doable.

What do you guys think ?
