1986 Suzuki Quad Sport LT230s Clutch Slip

i have a 1986 suzuki quad sport LT230 s and the guy i got it from just put a new clutch in it and it is slipping. Can anyone help me out with why it would be doing it and how to fix it never worked on them befor so this is my first time on doing so thanks for your time :confused:

no i think he did it himself so thats all i can say i was talking to a shop and the guy there told me to check the cable and if it is set right there should be slack in the clutch cable and to put new oil in it and try that but i can't do it till wed cause i don't get the quad till then he said to put in 10w 30 motor oil in so will try it

      Hi all, 

      I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

      Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!
