Found out today my actuator is not going to be my problem. The guy at kawasaki said it would be in the diff. I've not looked up the parts but their is a part inside the diff that should let it free spin & he stated it is more an likely seized to the shaft and the fix is replacing the shaft an the engagement part. Price for the 2 parts is over 400.00 so I will be driving in 4wd for along time.

I would say your welcome but thats not good news to be welcome for. I hope it's not that bad for you! he worst part was seeing all the new quads in the showroom. It's a Yamaha and Kawasaki dealer. By the way 1qt of kawasaki motor oil 5 bucks and change. I paid more at wal-mart.

So wait your front is locked at the differential? Like if it was a car would be the traction lok clutches were seized? I havent seen the inside of the diff or the actuator yet. My bro left upstate and my father could care less.

Yep the part that loks it in to 4wd is seized to the shaft the actuator sildes a ring on the shafton the other end so now the diff has to be split open and the shaft and engagement part has to be replaced is most cases. This is based on the kawasaki shop.

First off if the dealer is right and it is seized what is wrong with taking the parts apart, cleaning them up with steel wool and then reassembling and then toping off with some good oil. Sure the tolerances may be off a bit but it will be a good winter project and save you some cash. I would just apply some heat to get the two parts broken free.

Secondly I had a similar problem with my teryx and diff lock and the lever that engaged the diff lock was wedged in the locked position. I had to work it loose and then replaced the lock cable. I have no clue if the front diffs on the teryx and the brute are the same.

little over 400.00 for the 2 parts. He didn't give me labor cost. I think it's worth a shot too see if I can fix it Without spending money I don't need to spend. The man told me he has seen a bunch of them seized up some he felt was due to finding water in the diffs & some he was not sure why they had seized togather. The worse part I live in Ga. we don't have bad winters here so it's easy to ride year round.

Yesterday I got a UForce 1000 as my first bike and I am wondering if there are any owners that could advise where I can find budget parts and accessories for it.
I tried looking StarknightMT, but the filtering is a bit unreliable, so direct links or exact names are much appreciated.
I'm mostly interested in sliders and side cases, but any advices for "must haves" are welcomed.
      Thank you!

Hisun 700 EFI. Replaced TMAP sensor had broken off . Fuel pump pressure 41psi. The only way I can keep it running (and runs fine) is to close off fuel return line.

      Hey everyone,
I'm seriously considering a CFMOTO 600 Touring but keep hearing mixed feedback about parts and dealer support depending on where you live.
Before I pull the trigger, I'd love to hear from actual owners:
      - How long do parts usually take if your dealer doesn't stock them?
      - Have you had any warranty work done? Was it smooth or a headache?
      - Does your dealer provide decent service, or are you stuck doing everything yourself?
The value proposition is hard to ignore - seems like you get 30% more features for the money compared to the Big 3. But I'm trying to figure out if the potential service headaches are worth the upfront savings.
Would love to hear real-world experiences, especially from owners 2+ years in. What should a potential buyer know before committing?

I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.
