I bought the bike mentioned above about a month ago. It is in very good condition, with only 1200 miles on it. It has been sitting for two years. I brought it home, drove it around a bit, about a mile, and noticed the left front brake was hanging up, not releasing. I parked it in the shed. Ill get to it later, is what I thought. Anyway, yesterday I tried to get it out, and the front wheels are brake locked. They just want to slide. I just ordered a manual for it, but could somebody point me in the right direction as to what to look at first. Thanks in advance, I am no expert at working on anything that small.

Welcome to QC !!! Am I reading this right ? Your 81 years young ? If so RIGHT ON !!!! :bow:Only Way to figure out why its lockin up is jack up the front end and spin the wheels and see whats going on ! you may have a problem with you caliber or master cylinder! Given its age and its been sittin for a couple of years !!

Looking for two stock front wheels for 92 TRX300 2WD.   I think they are 6 x11" size.

I've been hunting for a rebuild kit or aftermarket replacement without success. Any tips? The OEM replacement is too rich for my blood.

I recently noticed my Fourtrax 2WD has 4WD wheels installed on the front.  The back spacing is significantly different than 2WD wheels and they are almost touching the strut springs and the tires actually do touch the springs..   So far, no luck locating 2WD wheels to correct this issue.

Hi, I am new to this forum I am currently working on my 1989 Yamaha front end.  The cv axles were bad so I changed them on both sides with all new wheel bearings. Now I'm looking at the front brakes and the 2 cylinders for the brake shoes on both sides do not work at all. I am also new at working on brakes so its a mystery to me what needs to be done to fix the cylinders.  Can somebody please help me with these brake issues? See the image below.
      Thank you,
      Olchap
