Well everyone i said to h*ll w/it up and ordered me a new wiring harness. I just got it in the mail yesterday and i think i going to get my quad running today. But i wont count my chickens before they hatch. I dont want to jenks myself............lol...................... One thing at a time no rushing do it and do it rite. Have a good day everyone at quadcrazy

Well, got the new harness on and wouldnt you know it still no spark. That just my luck. If it wasnt for bad luck i would have no luck at all........lol....... But anyways, Still No Spark. I just dont get it and neither do a couple of my friends. So any suggestions anyone

Well to everyone who gave me advice............ But finally after bout 8 mths of ~I Dont Knows~ it done and over with.... The Raptor is finally on the road again........ Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The funniest part of it all was how i first found out it was running.... My Mechanic/Boyfriend was working on it. "Just imagine my quad was in the house on porch." Which it was, anyways, he was working on it and I fell asleep on the couch. He got it to fire and started it with just the Header Pipe on it less than 2ft away from where I was sleepin. I like to jump straight off the couch. Like What The Hell Is Really Going On. Scared the Sh** out of Me. But I was never so Happy to see it running. :-) It still got a few adjustments to be fixd but All N All it starts up and runs and I can get on it and ride................. But Again Thank You to Everyone who tried to help..... Oh Ya, it ended up bein the Cdi Bx. I couldnt believe it cause my friend tested it on his quad and it was good.

      2006 LT-F400F stator/generator cover change: What is the best way to check that all is good with the transfer operation before reassembling?

      I have replaced the cracked stator cover on my non-running 2006 LT-F400F that I purchased recently, checked all the shafts vs the service manual and pics and advice here.  I replaced missing gears, bushings and washers, made sure that truth marks were all aligned properly, that the shift cam springs felt like they returned properly, etc.  IAfter installing the new stator cover I checked the transfer lever for proper movement from L-H-R and then cranked it up.  Happily, it runs and changes gears well in L,  but it will not shift into H or R for anything.  I have opened it back up and am going back through it looking for the missing puzzle piece(s) but how can I best check that I have everything right this time before buttoning it back up?

      I pulled out my Big Bear needed to do a few things probably havent been started in a year. Gassed it up charged the battery started right up. I have been using it around the property for this and that. Went to hook up my trailer to pull up to the house while it was idling it quit. Went to start it turned over but wouldnt start. After trying a few more times lost all power. Pulled it up to the house with the John Deere, the first thing i checked was the Universal fit soloenoil from Amazon and it was only a 10 AMP fuse so it does not universally fit the big bear it should be 30 AMP fuse. At the time i remember noticing it but forgot, at the time i had other problems like wiring harness being in a box stuck engine and no spark. when i bought it, yeah i know, thats one ishould have walked away from, but if i go to the trouble of hooking up my trailer and going there, its following me home.
      Thats old news, i still need to check it all out see if it lost spark and see if the starter shorted out it was acting kind of sluggish, i replaced the fuse with the spare 10 amp and blew immediately. I will try a 30 and see what happens.
