2004 Suzuki twin peaks 700 gas in oil

A week ago I put 4.8 gal of new gas in and ran it for 2 hours it ran great this week I wanted to crank it and let it run a bit, wouldn't start initially made me think starter was hanging then it cranked and went dead, I then removed air filter to have a look and started it up and noticed a blackest gas mixture filling up the air filter housing I shut it off and wiped floor up to discover it was indeed gas and oil so I pull the dip stick and it's fuel of gas help!

ok sure thing. once I remove the Carbs and clean them out with choke carb cleaner is there anything I should be checking real well? I know the needles should be clean and not stopped up and float should move freely anything else?

blow air in through all passages, keep in mind some needles will blow out if not properly removed, or cared for. Make sure main jet is clear by removing it, and blowing air in through and around the jet. Make sure needle and floats are set to spec, usually float will be level when upside down, however some differ. clean the throttle body, and the choke butterflys, to ensure proper function. Some bikes are (auto-choke) clean all electrical connectors with die elecrtric grease.

      I am unable to find a wiring diagram for this UTV.  When I turn the switch to on, the contractor does not engage.  The Brake pressure switch and the parking brake switches work correctly. What else should I be looking for?  All of the diagrams I have found are for newer models and the wire color coding is different.

      Looking for Quadrunner Flywheel Starter Clutch Gear race diameter

      I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

      Just getting into this issue really. Been replacing solenoids but now I'd like to track down the problem. This time I'm not getting neutral/reverse lights or start button. Was on a creek ride when it started doing this recently. It cranks by arcing the solenoid and gives me no light or start button but if I crank with the pull cord....the neutral light and the button work. Turn it off and try to crank with the key and nothing. I'm looking into the safety switch issue tomorrow and re charging the battery. Just figured this was odd enough of a problem that you guys might be familiar. Thanks

      oil for air filter?

      Hi everyone, first and foremost, I want to thank everyone for all the help I've received. I am so glad I found this community. I also wanna apologize if I'm spamming the forum, I come up with questions as I go, I guess lol. So when I got my Recon, the air box was missing the lid, held together by zip ties, and the filter was ripped and nasty. I have since ordered a new air box assembly. It comes with everything: the box,  lid, and filter ( the insert and the foam), and all the hardware necessary. This is the first time I've seen a metal filter inside a foam filter lol. However, my question is, I have read that you have to oil these filters? Every time I read it, it was always skimmed over, and I could not remember where I had read it. Is there a certain oil needed for this? Is the filter washable and reusable? Do I just stick the filter in oil, lol? Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question. Thanks in advance, y'all!

      Bell Crank Orentation 2000 Polaris Scrambler 400 2x4

      Does anyone know  the orientation of the bell crank for scrambler 400 2x4 it was not hooked up when I bought quad the way  i put it high goes into reverse and vise versa I flipped it 180 but that put  the shift rod at big angle and it just kinda grinds into gears so dnt think that is right either pretty sure it has to be the exact orientation and the rod adjusted accordingly but I cant seem to find it anyone knows please help
