  1. Well, one of the things i liked doing as a kid was taking things apart and putting them back together. Now i am killing to buy a junk quad and rebuild it. I will either sell it or keep it. Now what i am asking is... what should i buy to rebuild that i can get good parts for.

P.S. Me and my dad are machanically inclined so no need to worry

  2. Now let me get something straight right now, I am not sick of my SunL yet I just wanna know what to get when I'm done with it.

So you pretty much get what I'm saying so I was looking along the lines of a 400 or bigger.

    No bigger than a 700

I will post a poll after I get some ideas

    Thanks

  3. ok this might sound a little odd but here goes

today me and my dad put L brackets on the battery holder, got some U clamps drilled holes in the plate for the U clamps and screwed them ontothe brackets, we put the u clamps on the frame and replaced all the nuts with lock nuts and i dont think it will come off. cant ride for a couple days because of all the rain we have but ill keep you posted [=

  4. Ok here goes.

i have fixed my battery holder moer than 3 times and today it broke for a fourth time. i really need some help trying to fix this and me and my dad have invested over $50 in brackets, nuts, screws and others, plus my own time.i will get a picture of the damage and i need some help trying to fix it. THANX

  5. ok today i was riding and i went over a very small bump when my display went blank (i have a display that shows what gear your in). next i herd a bang and then a terrible grinding sound. once a gain my battery had fallen out!:aargh: i immediatlly shut it off, luckily i was in my yard, and i pushed it in the garage and i looked. the red wire was ripped out of the battery and the chain almost grinded through the battery. when we got the thing the zip ties broke and we made a clamp and a hook. now we got some brackets, screwed them into the battery holder and put some lock nuts on them and used hooks to hole the brackets on. that should hold it together. ill get pics asap.

  6. well after i posted last on this thread i went outside grabbed some 2x4s and rolled it up into my dads truck. he came home and said, how did you do that?!. i told him i used some 2x4s and then we went down to his house. i raced him a few times and won then he said. Lets go race in the swamps, i said sure, not knowing how deep they were. he had 4wd and i only have 2. i got stuck and he had to pull me out so im thinking he won that race.

i found out that you have to have a licence, have plates, have it registered, have it insured and it has to have blinkers. i dont think ill have any of those soon:wink:

  7. Hey i was just wondering what it takes to ride a quad on the road in mass. i wanted to know because i want to race my quad with my friend who lives like 4 miles down the road and there is no way to get it over there without som ehuge expences. thanks

  8. how many sizes do they offer?

I really dont know to tell you the truth, if i did know i would tell you but i think they go from 90 to like a 300, but like I said, I really dont know

  9. pretty good, i bought it a week ago for 800 bucks and its a used 2007. only problem with it was that the battery was held on by zipties and it feel off the other day. put a clamp on it and its not moving now. another thing is that the gas valve has been replaced but for a 4 speed manual, it runs well for a begging atv.
