The 2016 ProX ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) presented by CST Tires, an AMA National Championship, concluded today, September 9, after the twelfth and final round was held at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort (SECR) in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Sunny conditions made for a great day of racing as Wienen Motorsports/Yamaha/Maxxis/SSi Decals/Walsh Racecraft/FLY Racing’s Chad Wienen and Maxxis/Liquid Wrench/Elka Suspension/Honda’s Joel Hetrick went head-to-head for the coveted National Championship.

In a head-to-head battle with the current points leader and defending champion Wienen Motorsports/Yamaha/Maxxis/SSi Decals/Walsh Racecraft/FLY Racing’s Chad Wienen, Maxxis/Elka Suspension/Liquid Wrench’s Joel Hetrick rose to the occasion going 2-1 to take home his sixth win of the season.

Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota hosted the eighth round of the 2016 ProX ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) presented by CST Tires, an AMA National Championship, yesterday, July 2. Faced with some of the most challenging track conditions of the season, reigning four-time AMA Pro ATV Champion Chad Wienen rose to the occasion with a dominant 2-1 performance that gave the Wienen Motorsports/Yamaha/Maxxis/SSi Decals/Walsh Racecraft/FLY Racing rider his third overall victory of the season.

An abundant amount of rainfall occurred at High Point Raceway creating a slick and muddy track for the fifth round of the ProX ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) presented by CST Tires, an AMA National Championship. The track crew worked diligently to create the best racecourse possible and at the conclusion of the two 20-minute motos it was Maxxis/Elka Suspension/Liquid Wrench’s Joel Hetrick who took home the overall win with 2-1 moto finishes.

  11. The 2016 ProX ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) presented by CST Tires, an AMA National Championship, continued today, May 7, at the iconic Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The rain began to fall right before the second timed qualifying session creating a rough and rutted track, but Maxxis/Elka Suspension/Liquid Wrench’s Joel Hetrick conquered the obstacles to come out with the overall win. Wienen Motorsports/Yamaha/Maxxis/SSi Decals/Walsh Racecraft/FLY Racing’s Chad Wienen and JB Racing/Root River Racing/Gold Speed Tires’ Jeffrey Rastrelli rounded out the overall podium in second and third.

The 2016 ProX ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) presented by CST Tires, an AMA National Championship, continued today, April 23, at the iconic Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tennessee. With the presence of overcast skies the track shaped up nicely after rain showers the day before. Maxxis/Elka Suspension/Liquid Wrench’s Joel Hetrick was able to quickly adjust to the changing track conditions to take home his first win of the season.
