Israel Kamakawiwo Ole's version of Somewhere over the Rainbow.
I like this version just cause louis armstrongs voice is too rough for my taste but both great artists.

Ha, Well i'm gonna order my own parts and just let them do the clutch only.. If my calculations are correct it should cut down the price to around 500-560 depending on how much the shop is going to charge me for labor. So its not too bad, but much better than 850 dollars. Also it takes them a week to get parts...what a joke; i can get mine in two days.
-
So i just got a call back from the shop..They said New clutch kit, Rear brake Disc, Calibration kit or something like that. and just about an hour and a half of labor for each part and with a grand total of.............................850$ dollars. I think i'm going to do the brakes myself but i'm not touching anything to do with the clutch. So i guess thats that, Unless anyone wants to come help me with my clutch : )

Just make an appointment. If they tell you to bring it on Tuesday, you then ask them will it be seen on Tues? They will tell you yes and then you tell them that you have some trip planned and you HAVE to have it back buy Thurs. Give them at least 2 days of working on it. They will usually say no problem we can have it done by then. Make them write it on the work order. Don't be afraid to raise hell. If you start giving hell about unhappy you are in the middle of their store in front of other customers, they will do what it takes to shut you up. Do you think they want possible new customers hearing how crappy they are? Go straight to the manager.
Ha i'll see what i can do..

Hmm..Well i hope i don't have to sue anybody.

They are behind schedule so they should be looking at it before monday and hopefully me getting it back by next friday for the weekend.

I haven't rode/sat-on/looked at my quad in 7 days! I think i'm going to loose it!
Called the shop, turns out they haven't looked at it yet : ( Probably won't get my baby back till school starts which is even worse! I'm sure everyone has gone threw this before.
-
Good luck with that...
P.S. Your Rhino looks sick : )

I'm gonna say you would have to go to your local dealer and or download one off the web for 10-15 dollars (what a rip-off right?) I have been trying to find one but they all seem to have a price. I'll see if i can find you a "cracked" version of one : )

Have fun

Well I'm not sure about how to put the fitting back on, but earlier today i was having the same problem on my Suzuki 80 (Dirtbike). What i did was clean the carb and cleared out some sediment build up and i blew air into the little pipes sticking out of the carb that. (they should be connected to clear tubes) to clear some debris out of that. It seemed to work for me but i'm not sure. Your jetting might be off or might be blocked with debris which would change your fuel/air mixture which might be causing that problem. "If there is blue smoke coming out the muffler, then either the rings are stuck in the piston or there is wear on the valve stems/seals or the piston/rings." Hope this helps, keep us posted : )

It is a 660r rappy..

Hmm..That sounds like a reasonable investment. We will have to see how much the transmission is gonna set me back first. Also yea i have a gyt-r Alum. pipe on my quad.

O, I tried starting it a few times a couple days later and switching the rev box in and out. But nothing seemed to work.
2004 Raptor 660 New Clutch Adjustments
in Yamaha ATV Forum
Posted
HI everyone. I ride a raptor 660 2004. I just had a new clutch installed last summer. I didn't ride much the winter but a few times on the ice and mud. So now its spring and i took it out again but i noticed that the clutch isnt catching very well. I hope the new clutch isn't gone, but don't you need to adjust your clutch as you break in your new clutch? Any help would be appreciated thanks!
