  1. Ok I did acces the forum now not using Tapatalk,I was just letting Frank know that I found some Images of 250cc water cooled engines wiring diagrams and just wanted to know where would I share this images so anyone looking to wire up a 250cc water cooled engine can have access to a wiring diagram because I know how frustrating it is no knowing what is what, having a harness looking like a spaghetti bowl!!! This diagrams have Fan wiring hook up and diodes etc,I did an extensive search because I bought a 07 250cc Rapidity atv and the owner trashed the original harness and bought one of (VMC Chinese parts) I’m not trying to sponsor anything or advertise, but they sold him a harness for a 250cc air cooled engine and the harness was way off,it had a/c cdi instead of D/C,but any way is some images that might help others because I spent days literally on my phone and laptop looking for info and this was the closest I got,I have a harness coming today and fingers crossed it matches the original because this is coming from UK UD-Spareparts.com has a lot of Chinese wiring harnesses that Amazon and EBay don’t have. @Admin thanks for such an awesome forum!!! Hopefully I can contribute to alot of our Quadcrazy brothers and sisters....
  2. Yeah,I’m very familiar with the A/F Mixture screw,I buy this atvs to fix and flip and it works out pretty good, anyhow I did check the spark, maked sure battery is fully operational, and if this persists then I think I may have to dig a little deeper and do Valve adjustment,I don’t know if anyone even attempted such thing on this atv,it’s an 07 Kymco Mongoose 300cc so it’s been what 12 years? I bought it and it was sitting outside on the Florida weather and as you may know this ATV’s don’t do well outside because they rust away very quickly,I have some wiring diagrams I dug up doing an extensive search for the Rapidity and found some interesting stuff where would I post such info for other fellow riders, thanks for your help Frank!!!
  3. No I haven’t but I do have the kit for that and I will try and get it done today after work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. read the statement on the picture I attached I’m using an iPhone and I’m not very familiar with it yet,but that’s the reply to your last conversation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes I did take I took apart the entire carburetor and after the ultrasonic I sprayed carburetor cleaner and blew out each jet,I did take out the A/F mixture screw so I could properly dip in the carb on the ultrasonic,I just have to get the specs for how many turns out do I need for that screw,a Bit of choke I meant I normally choked the atv and it would start, but since I cleaned up the carb it won’t start,I did notice the gasoline had water and it was more yellowish than normal so I drained that and I will buy 91 octane or Ethanol Free gasoline I had regular gasoline on it,which the manual says that 91 octane is better,I’m pretty good at cleaning carbs, just asked if anyone thinks is either gasoline issues or a/f mixture screw,I did take apart the carb yesterday again but did not have time to install it on the atv, other stuff came up. 6. So My 07 Kymco Mongoose 300 was having a bit of choke issue and I have an Ultrasonic and decided to dip it in for a good clean up,and now the atv don’t want to start,it tried but it backfired a little bit but still won’t start, any suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yes sir I will keep you's posted, the Yamaha Raptor660r is still a project, still buying parts,$$$$that's the problem they're expensive, but so far I have stage 2 hotcams,Stage 1 through 7 DJ for carb, big bore kit,but buying cp carillo piston 102mm 11:1 comp, gaskets and other little things, but many more parts to buy still... 8. Yeah that's very very close,I can see the blu wire, green, and yellow the ones, good research, thanks,I also been doing an extensive research on this and found one as well, the site is from the other side of the world its called UD-spareparts.com and I found one machine very similar and same engine which is what I'm more interested, because the other plugs that change is for lights, blinkers,so on and so forth, but the engine plugs are the same,I ordered it when it arrives and if by any chance don't fit, then I will try this one,I thought the harness would be more expensive, but bottom line is it's still a Chinese atv because they look nice,we have a saying in Puerto Rico,"It doesn't matter how precious you dress up a monkey, because it'll always be a monkey " this may look nice atv but they rust up hust as quick as the little ones!!! Frank my Atv brother THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALWAYS HELPING OUT!!!! Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  9. Google up shineray 250cc water cooled engine and it'll pop up but finding harnesses is hard, the guy threw away the original harness, and this quad has a temp sensor I think because the radiator has one and the other one is attached to the engine, the husband bought a harness of Ebay or Amazon and its not even close so that's why he gave up,and when I opened the carburetor on this!!!!! OMG Jets were all gummed up BAD!!!! and he told me I was having trouble getting to fire up,using cheap gas it'll do it,it says 93 octane to be used with the Rapidity 250cc atv
  10. The stator wires are 2 in the same plug 1 green(ground) the other one blue/whitestripe center of wire then 3 in separate plug all 3 are yellow and it has another plug with 6 wires but thats the gear sensor this quad is manual transmission reverse,neutral,1,2,3,4
  11. I need some help with some of this stuff Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  12. Ok so I bought this quad for $275 and the owner(a woman) told me that the atv was having some issues so her husband started messing around with the wire harness and started guessing and cutting wires then the son decided to tag along and the harness became history(garbage) so I asked where did they buy the new harness it came with, because this ATV's engine is watercooled and has sensors in the radiator and engine,The stator has 3 yellow wires a blue/white stripe and green, a link to a wire diagram would help too tanks.... 13. What mean by India's weather? I'm a bit lost there brother, but Dupont I heard of.... Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  14. I have a powder coating machine/gun whatever its called, brand new, not even open yet,I may try that see how it goes!!! I also have a very good gun to paint cars I may see how that goes too... thanks for the suggestions Frank Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  15. I don't mean being with my babies is time consuming just in case it soundedlike that,I meant scraping the plastic takes alot of time, just that one took all day,and it looke like this at first without the heat gun just scraped,I lo e riding them around and I can't wait for them to learn to ride their quads!!!! I have 6 quads and I'm the only one in the house that rides them....but yeah I'm gonna check out how much is for painting the plastics if not then I'll get new ones...I love the Red and Black, but the Blue/White and Gray or black go great as well.... Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  16. This is the rear plastics of my Raptor660r I haven't done the other one yet, this is very time consuming, specially when you have 2 year old baby Twins running around and all I hear is Papi!!! (Daddy) and they make the quad sounds, meaning they want a ride... but this is all razor blade scraped and I ran the heat gun after, but maybe I'll end up powder coating this? Not sure if it will work ok? Any suggestions? Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  17. No,it does not,but I did just like Jeremy Morris says on his comment, Not with the straw but something similar, thanks for your help, very much appreciated.
  18. I apologize for taking your topic off track,I had posted something similar to that but I think it was on the Raptor forum and no one has answered yet.... Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  19. I spray some of that Meguiars Rims shine and then hit it with a buffer and lightly spraying water not to burn the plastic, its ok,but I could've done better, just to time consuming....
  20. Dry,you just want to scrape it lightly, its time consuming, but it all depends on what you want....how good you want the plastics to look!!! Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  21. @Ajmboy I did respond to your topic first...then I ask frank the ? about the stator [emoji16]... [emoji41][emoji106] but that paint Thinner and Linseed Boiled oil doesn't last long... Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  22. Best thing to do is use a carpet razor blade (flexible) and take your time and scrape really thin layers, I mean thin that you can barely see..... it works....
  23. This are yhe specs for the Rappy Yeah I'm not getting any reading from the white to white wires.... I think its fried.... I'm gonna start saving for new parts, Yamaha parts are Pricey!!!! CDI alone is about $375 and on and on it goes.....but a better cdi than the one the quad came with
  24. Hey Frank I posted some pictures of my stator from my Raptor660r and I need some help, here are some pics of the numbers I got from the stator the 494 is ok,that's from the white/red & white/green wires but from the white to white I was getting no reading and from the blue and red wires also no reading, so it's most likely done right? Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  25. Wow I would dive on that deal head first....sweet, fix a few of those and make most of the money back..... Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
