Heading up to the Leota Trail in Harison,MI.

who is riding,and where this weekend?

wife's quad is to be picked up sat. morning,then off to tire shop to have new tires put on,I'm thinking maybe a short blast up to leota trail on Sunday.

I'm not sure the "Term" for that Sand area,it has woopty doos,(^^^^^^)  and you can get some nice air,and a great shoulder workout at the same time.

Today it was old school!

and old guy,with an old truck,and a old quad!

Was A Great time!!

I hit 49 MPH

and put on 44 miles,I know it was more cause I did not turn it on right away,but we had FUN!

I brought my cell phone,no Extras!

the last picture is the Scramble area,that was Fun!

looks like I'm going to hit the trail tomorrow 

Wifes quad not out of the shop yet,just went in to do a tune up and check it over.

so I'll be going with some friends up to leota for some trail riding in the morning.

have not been out on the trails since 1995!!

Never, ever ride an ATV up a ramp into the back of a pick-up.

I still do.

But todays items like compressors, plug kits jumper packs etc are easy to take a long. Plus the new bags that they have to mount on your bike to store this sh** are so cool and easy.  

well since mine is not new anymore,I might need to bring along a few extra.

last time on leagle  trails was 1995,since then it's just been ran on side roads in the country,not far from home

Wife knew I would not where it often so we did not go crazy on it.

While at work not allowed,and at home I work a lot in the garage.

only time I where it when we go out.....and then I forget it.

you guys pack quite A bit.

back when I road,I just brought money for gas & food.

was thinking of maybe bringing so T-P and a strap.

Wife is coming with me,and I know how she packs!!

we will need a trailer just for her extra stuff!

nope,that was just the other day,thanks!

I ride it hard,but I try my best to take care of it.

I have A 1991 Honda 250X bought it new,still kinda good shape,want to get back to ridding some trails with it.
have not been on the trails since 1995.
used to ride from Houton Lake to St. Helen get gas and food and turn around,made for a great days ride.


looking to read lots in this forum.

sounds like fun riding,looking to get some riding in Aug.might have to check out St. Helen.
any sort first timer trails to use,my wife is just starting out and this will be her first outing.
