  1. No, its always started and idles fine.... When you slowly press on the gas now it bogs down and wants to stall
  2. I had this running so nice like 3 weeks ago and havent touched it since. Today i took the old outlet tube (from the carb to the air box) off, put the new one on, and now its lagging again when you press the gas slowly. Was not doing that with the old tube that was barely on. I assume its getting the proper air now. Carb was fully rebuilt with oem parts 1 year ago by kawasaki (guy did this before i bought it).. ive taken most of it apart and it looks brand new.
  3. Wished you lived closer mech, i had the quad running mint, and then replaced the old crappy outlet tube, now it bogs down again when you slowly push on the gas. The carb is one pain in the as* to adjust... im almost positive the float level and air fuel isnt adjusted properly. I had it running like new 3 weeks ago... grrrrr Forgot to say as well, the old air outlet tube was barely hanging on, and more then a half in shorter then the oem one. So i replaced it, now she runs like dogsh!t again
  4. Any updates on the honda? Done any more work?
  5. I want to get mine running good before may. Ive only rode a atv twice.
  6. Right on. An 05 suzuki king quad 700 here in vancouver canads would be around $5000. Whatd you pay if you dont mind me asking? I have done all the fluids in my 91 king quad, now going to be tackling all new front brakes this weekend. Waiting for a new oil seal and rear bearing to come in the mail as well.
  7. Does anyone have a link or part number or actual name for the seal that goes from the driveshaft into the crankcase on a 91 king quad 300? For some reason im having a hell of a time finding one here in canada.
  8. Thanks alot for your help... i havent had a chance to look at my brakes again, but i am just going to replace the shoes, springs and wheel cylinders anyways. Its pretty cheap, and they werent in the greatest shape. Id rather have good new brakes then none at all. I also need to look at the adjusters because it seems to be a common problem that they rust up and dont work well. As for the diff we are gonna start taking things apart soon to see what is going on. I dont have a good place at my house to work on it, so its at my parents warehouse. Looks like ebay even has a couple refurbished diffs for like $230 or so. Not having the quad at my house is a PITA The quad sat for 3 or 4 years so im sure theres a few things that need to be addressed. Asides from fluid changes and new spark plug what do you reccomend checking out for maintenance?
  9. Yeah your right i get frustrated easily because i don't know a damn thing about it. I don't mind spending some money on it because it runs good. I gotta find someone that can help in person...
  10. Quad is pretty much garbage if thats the case. Ordering the parts in cuntada will cost me 3/4 of the price as buying a new quad. Thanks for your help
  11. I just changed the diff fluid and the was a little bit of metal flakes stuck to the magnet cap. The old fluid was in there since 2017 i believe. Is it normal to have a little bit or theyre shouldnt be any at all? The old oil was muddy green. I will drain it again and see what i can find.
  12. I did release the bleed nipple, and fluid came out, but the wheel would not move still. With the drum off the wheel turns normally now. I will try the cylinder and see if it is working properly as well.
  13. When my king quad is in 4wd in any gear, there is a loud clunking coming from the front differential. Sounds like its coming right from the center of the differential. Is it toast? 4wd still engages but clunks at slow speeds especially. Front diff rebuild? Bearings? Im still learning so any help is very appreciated.
  14. Thanks for your help. I managed to get the drum off but it was a real pain.. something is up with the brakes for sure. Now that the drum is off the wheel spins nicely. I guess ill get new brakes shoes and springs and wheel cylinders and go from there.
  15. I just got a 91 king quad. (I am very new to atvs) and know nothing about fixing them. While i was driving the other day at around 30km/hr the front left wheel locked up and was skidding. I tried putting it in neutral, that did nothing. The tire is still locked up. Tried putting it in 4x4 still locked up. Locked up in reverse as well. Only the front left is locked. Brakes? Berrings? I changed the differential fluid maybe a few days before.
