  1. Then I believe heat welding would fix that. Soldering iron with some ABS plastic scrap should work
  2. Regarding oil for bikes, Rotella 15w-40 is great. Extreme Pressure (EP) additives, ok for wet clutch, maybe a little thick for winter use
  3. If there's enough surface area on the underside of the damage, I like to scratch it up and use fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin. Don't use polyester resin.. welding is good too if it's a crack that still closes up tight
  4. Hello back at you.. I'm rejuvenating a 35yr old Kowhockey Gary
  5. Try heating with a common propane torch. The heat will travel down the bolt and might help the penetrating oil seep down to the threads. Don't try to turn the bolt while it's hot, just heat, cool, repeat. Use a penetrating oil like Kroil not wd40
  6. Old 2 wheel rider with over 150k miles of vibrating and wet to the core

  7. Looks like this is the right place to introduce myself. First time ATV owner. Gary
  8. First ATV but owned 2 wheel versions all my (long) life. 1990 KLF300C for $500.. doesn't run yet but I'm an old automotive mechanic so not worried. Only a little concerned about the price of parts, certain this antique will need many
  9. Not morning but I'll say it anyway. Good morning all, better late than never
  10. I just bought a 1990 KLF300C (kowhockey) .. only $500 because previous owner let the carb gum up and battery wouldn't take a charge.
  11. First time atv buyer, been motorcycle freak for a very many years. Gary
