The wife is doing great. The surgery went well and she is back to riding. Love her new scar. It makes her look tough. The dog is a different story. Now he is hiding his empties in the cat box (cat is not happy about this).

That's the same thing my wife said when she saw the empty beer bottles under the bed. She only found paw prints on the bottles. I survived another day.

update.....wife is doing well. We went riding and she did great. The plate has stayed put for now. The dog is a different story. We had an intervention with some of his friends. Two Pit Bulls and a Golden Retriever. I found where my dog was stashing his beer.....under my bed.

He is on step 6 of his 12 step program. He should graduate in about 4 months

good news bad news. She is feeling good and her scar looks good. Went to her doc for a follow up and he is concerned with what he sees. The plate holding the break together is starting to lift off the bone. The screws and pulling out of the bone. May have to do the whole surgery all over again:no:

update.....after 10 weeks the clavicle did not mend so she had surgery to fix it. She had to have a plate put on the two pieces of her broken clavicle and 6 screws to hold the plate on the bone. The big problem was that they had to do a bone graft to get the two pieces of bone to mend. They took the bone graft from just below her knee. Her clavicle feels good ....her leg is killing her.

when I go surfing my wife always gets paranoid that a shark will have me for lunch....now I can start mud surfing and she will be happy....till she sees what mud surfing is

update.......no surgery yet. The Doctor wants to give the bone more time to see if it will heal by itself. That's the good news. Bad news. We were in Puerto Vallarta on vacation and my wife slipped on some marble stairs and might have broke her tail bone.

I can't let my wife read this thread....If she finds out that there is a surgery to make me not so lazy she will have me in the doctors office pronto. Glad to hear your wife is doing well
