Thanks guys for the info. I was able to go to the NGK site and put in the make and model and they told me the plug I needed. I guess the only other thing the owners manual would tell me that I need right now would be how much and what type of oil should I use? Any help there? I also probably need to change the air filter and oil filter, but I bet I can find those based on whats on there now. Any thoughts on brands of those. What other basic maintenance should I do to get this thing ready for hunting season. What all needs to be lubed or cleaned?

Thanks for the reply! I did exactly that and he is going to check. He thinks he only has 2002 and up. What I really need to know is the best spark plug to put into this thing. Right now a Champion RA8HC is what is in there, but someone recommended finding out what the manufacturer recommends. I had some issues with the ATV overheating and then it wouldn't start very easily. The person I was with thinks changing the spark plug wont obviously fix the overheating, but may help the starting issue.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I am new to this site. I was just handed down a 2000 model LTF250 from my father in law and I would like to get the owners manual for it so I know what I am working with. Thanks for the help.
