Recommended Posts

I have a 1985 Suzuki lt250ef quadrunner and does anyone know the proper valve to rocker arms clearance

Standard clearance for most engines is .004 thou being on the tighter side and .006 thou being on the looser side for most engines. So a clearance of not being able to slide .006 in, barely being able to slide .005 in and .004 is loose would probably be a good setting. The only reason for valve lash is to make sure the valves are seating fully and and some people saying cooling but not much. That is where I would set them.

If you want to be absolutely sure get a manual for your machine and it will say in there.
