1996 Bayou 300 4x2 front shock bushings

Recommended Posts

I destroyed the bushings getting the bolt out of the front shock.  Does anyone know what size bushings the bottom of the shock takes?  I figure if I know the size I can find some bushings online.

After an extended break between rounds along with a venue change to add to the mixture, the 2020 ATV Motocross National Championship Series, an AMA National Championship, continues to showcase some of the greatest battles the series has seen. So I’ve got a 400ex with a dg Slip on a air filter and a stage 2 hot cam, I want to put a big bore kit on it... either a 416 or a 426 NOT a 440! Only because I hear the 440’s overheat all of the time and cause lots of problems. I’m looking for 3 things, 1. price (with kit is cheaper), 2. Reliability (obviously witch kit is more reliable) and 3. Which kit give better power, I’m assuming the 426 give it more power but if the 416 give it say 35hp for $450 and the 426 gives it 37 for $600 I’m probably gunna go with the 416....  Thanks!

      Suspension Question? Shocks for 250X
I bought the wife a 2019 honda 250X,it does not have adjustable shocks,I'm thinking of maybe getting one  as well, for her she does not notice it as much as I  do but the ride is not as good as my 1991 250X with adjustable shocks.
So I'm looking at maybe getting new shocks if I get one for myself,I find these.

It's time to replace the shocks and struts.  Looking for some stiffer springs than the OEM as I use this for farm work and I put heavy loads on the rear and haul small trailers frequently.  I've seen a couple aftermarket offerings that say they're 10% or so heavier duty.  Any other options for something a little stronger / stiffer?  Thanks.

Just bought this, I'll tell you it's almost mint. Couple issues, 1. He said he put new front shocks on but getting clunks when I hit a decent bump. 2. It's liquid cooled is regular 50/50 Prestone good?  Thanks in advance
