hi, so i decided that i want a quad.  and i want a sport quad.

so, i want to be able to ride it on the road and offroad and such, nothing crazy. i dont know were to start, like how many cc? automatic, 2 or 4 stroke, 2wd-4wd, brand, and so on.

i dont want to have a beginner model and work my way up, i want the baddest and best now:D

ive been thinking of dirtbike first, but when my coworker expalined about how many times you must change oil i thought he was kidding but no. so i hope its not the same on the quad motors.

thanks for any input...

okay, ive just had a ride on it, and even tough ive never ridden one before, this cant be this unstable. ive checked up on the owners history and it had been sold fairly quickly from person to person, so i think that is the reason.

the problem is that it shoots side to side and wander very much from side to side. i had it up to 60kmh and that was very dangerous, its like it hops a few cm to one side even tough i am keeping it straight.

im gonna google some and fix this problem. if you guys have any suggestions i would appriciate it.

Get the toe fixed so the wheels are pointing straight ahead, and make sure the air pressure is the same from side to side. If riding on pavement at high speed I always feel a little nervous since those high grip off tires aren’t made for that

i just changed over to the stock off road tyres, and i must say that it rides so much better. even on pavement. the ones that was on it when i bought it was slick pavement tires, but every bump and tracks in the road made it "all over the place"

also i had much better controll over the quad with the dirt tires. so im very happy now

having an issue with the unit when running under a load up a hill or in high gear, seems like the belt is slipping, there is a clapping sound coming from the primary clutch like it releases and snaps back in. i don't think I should have a noise like that. this is a friends unit and he has already replaced the primary twice with the same result.
not sure where to look next

My king quad 700 runs rough when cold then won't start some times but not often when it's hot. And occasionally smoke's a lot when it's cold I'm guessing that's rings but I'm worried unless it's causing the other problems

Has anyone else had an issue on older king quads where the oil would leak from the top of the head (due to a failed gasket) and drip onto the hot exhaust? Mine got so hot one time it caught fire. Just wondering if this is a common issue, as I've seen the same thing happen on multiple bikes that were the same model.

My 2014 750 king quad stalls sometimes when I touch or turn the handlebars, the problem has gotten worse,my machine has 475 miles and is only trail ridden,I have a new factory battery and i have 14.2 volts when the quad is running and 13.3 on the battery when not running, also using a multimeter there is no change in volts when turning the bars until it does stall,If I pull the 40 amp power steering fuse it will not stall.......I've been told its the ECU,Hate to buy one if thats not the problem, but its kinda leaning towards that,,,,,need some opinions.
