I picked up a 1990 Yamaha Moto 4 350 from a buddy in the past two weeks. Still runs very well and is the first ATV I’ve ever owned. It is a nice utility ATV that my kids can have fun on. Wondering if anyone has an owners and service manual for this ATV.  I’m a DIY guy that wants to go through and maintain the ATV. I just gave it a updated paint job (photo attached). Thanks for the help.

Welcome to Quadcrazy Big E. Nice looking bike for it’s age.   I like older bikes, they are fun to work on without all the electronics. 

So you should be able to find a manual in the downloads section of this site.  It’s the tab on the top right side and go down to the download tab and it’s self explanatory as far as looking for your bike.  It should be there or a year close to it.

You must have at least 10 posted items before you can have access to the manuals but you won’t have any trouble doing that as you will find this site pretty interesting as I did. You will wind up asking questions and commenting  on some of the posts maybe helping out the next guy with there problem or just posting some cool pics etc. 

So welcome to Quadcrazy and enjoy the bike brother!

      O3 sat a while. Engine is running fine. I got it into neutral, did some general tune-up and cleaning then pulled the shifter pedal up and it locked up and will not release into neutral again.  Does anyone have experience with this problem?  Thanks for looking and any help.

      Fixing for a friend. Atv was at a different friends house to be fixed and he rebuilt the carb and had it running nice, then it shut off and no more. He replaced the key and the coil.
       
      So he got busy, so I am helping, I checked the wiring from the stator to the cdi, and from the cdi to the coil. All is good. I checked resistance on the pickup coil, good, and on the source coil, open. I buy a new stator (China) and the 4 prong plug only has 3 wires in it while mine has all 4. I checked resistance in the source coil and it's in the 300's. I pulled one of the old pickup wires out of the old stator and wire it in the new one. Still no spark.
       
      Why do the wires differ, I checked the VIN again and it's "J" for the year and I got a 1988 stator. Please help!

      Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!
