Hello All,

I have multiple Yamaha Timberwolfs, and I'm rebuilding a 92. I would like to replace the Ball Joints on the control arms. Does anyone know where I can purchase them? I don't want to purchase entire control arm. Ebay only has upper ball joints (Funny I don't see Upper Ball Joints, I have struts) and Cheap Cycle Parts, Partzilla and others don't even show the part number for the lower ball joint. There has to be something out there, these are just pressed in ball joints with castle nut and cotter pin.

Please help cross reference. I have another Timberwolf I want to rebuild.

You can't find them because they are not serviceable. You are supposed to replace the whole lower A arm. The issue there being that I'd bet you can't get OEM A arms anymore. Best bet is what the 400ex guys do and take some measurements and find something close. Then you have to struggle the OEM ball joints out and press in something close.

Fixing for a friend. Atv was at a different friends house to be fixed and he rebuilt the carb and had it running nice, then it shut off and no more. He replaced the key and the coil.

So he got busy, so I am helping, I checked the wiring from the stator to the cdi, and from the cdi to the coil. All is good. I checked resistance on the pickup coil, good, and on the source coil, open. I buy a new stator (China) and the 4 prong plug only has 3 wires in it while mine has all 4. I checked resistance in the source coil and it's in the 300's. I pulled one of the old pickup wires out of the old stator and wire it in the new one. Still no spark.

Why do the wires differ, I checked the VIN again and it's "J" for the year and I got a 1988 stator. Please help!

So here's a topic for anything goes forum and to get a way from the china virus stuff...lol. Has anyone been noticing the small drips of news about ufos and the government confirming? President Obama has an interesting late night segment. How warm and fuzzy do you feel when an ex-gov official confirms objects in the sky they can't explain...
