Hello, the ATV doesn't stop anymore so I guess it is time to replace the brakes. Looking for part number and instructions. I think it may have shoes front + back and the front would be hydraulic.

I adjusted the brake handle and when I engage the brakes the handle still has a lot of resistance but the brakes don't stop well.  I saw another post here with the same issue and they suggested to adjust the shoes. I took my brakes apart and the adjusters are seized. I tried to figure out how they work so I loosened the side that is in the wheel cylinder and removed it but there is no thread to go in or out so I don't know how they work. I sanded the pads a bit to get them rough. Reassembled and same issue.

That one had front hydraulic drums, right?  Been a while since I was in to one of those.  If the handle is stiff and not providing any braking I'd suspect the wheel cylinders are partially seized.  If it were a squishy handle I'd suspect the master cylinder o-rings were bad.

I replaced the shoes on back and both fronts. Seems better but still not great. The adjusters on the front were all seized and a real pan to free up. One ended up getting a warp so it doesn't work very well now. I got it together as well as I could but really hard to adjust the shoes. Especially when it is full time 4x4 so when you turn the wheel you get the resistance of the other wheel etc...

Does anyone have a recommendation of a really Heavy Duty ATV cover. I have bought several and they do keep the water off somewhat, but they are very thin and do not contour with the shape very well and water pools up in the rack louvers. I think i may be looking for a heavy canvas one, if anyone has a recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.

So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.

I have a Sportsman 450 HO and almost killed my self when loading it on my truck with ramps.  It rolled off the top of the ramps and tailgate and nearly landed on me.  I now want to winch the ATV in to the truck.  My question is are the front side bed tiedowns in my 2011 RAM strong enough to winch to without distorting the hooks or sides of the bed?
