Plow / Winch set up

Hey guys ,i changed over last year from the standard “ hand lever system ,to swapping over to a winch pully set up for my plowing , 

i have a moose plow,and installed a pulley system on the plow to be raised and lowered with my winch , it works fine but im curiouse if others use a system like this ? It seems like i just do not get enough lift heaight from this setup , it may be how i have it set up ,i dont know ,i would love to see other members setups ,to compare to mine , much appreciated guys

I don’t have any photos of mine but my plow doesn’t get much lift height either with the winch. I was just dropping in to give you a heads up about the winch cable. If you use the typical steel cable, it isn’t going to last long. The constant up and down on the same 10” of cable wears it fast and they break. If you don’t have a synthetic winch rope you may want to purchase one. I will be buying one for myself as my cable broke last year after a few storms

To get more lift out of mine, I route the cable through a snatch block that is attached to the front rack and then down to the plow.

curious what brand of winch are you guys using with your plows?

I use a snowblower now but It would be great to use my wheeler for this. Can you scrape Ice with an ATV plow?
