09 renegade no power

Hey iv got a 2009 renegade 800x with no power at all no relays clicking no gages no nothing.

I look at all the obvious places and found nothing.

It was running and drove to where it currently sits and has been there for the winter.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Other than  repeating the obvious I can't offer  much more .

Start at the battery.  Make sure it is full  charged .Check for a blown  fuse or fusible link. Check the terminals and ground wire for  loose /  corrosion and then  follow the power forward to where it is first lost. Check   a wiring diagram to see what controls the power to that point, and so  on until you hit  on where the failure is .. There are service manuals for earlier Renegade 800 models in the downloads section that  may have the same wiring diagram  as your machine.

Never thought of looking for a manual I'll have to try and find one.
I did just figure it out there was a short on the kill switch so even with the switch off the machine thought the kill switch was on.
