I just bought a 91 and when I went to change the oil in the rear diff it had water in it (milky oil). There are no leaks in the seals so I think it's coming in the vent tube. Thing is I can't find it. Anyone know where it is.

Thanks

Vents are normally on the top or towards the top of any case.  Not sure where it specifically though.  It's pretty unusual to leak water into a vent other than the case where it's used as a submarine so I'd still lean towards pinion or axle seals leaking.  Or could even just be condensation if the oil hasn't been changed in years.  You'd be surprised how much water gets inside just from condensation.

Thanks. It came to me in pretty rough shape. I believe the reason I can't find it is because it is gone. The first thing I did was flush oil twice (black) and both diffs (looked like cappuccino). After one ride in the mud rear diff is got water in it. Granted the boys sunk it to just below the airbox, phew. I think though at some point the breather tube was knocked off or torn out. After I eliminate that on to replacing pinion and axle seals. Fun fun.

I usually look at a parts diagram from an online aftermarket supplier...

Thanks! Where did you find this diagram, I could not get anything good? Usually partzilla has good diagrams but this is awesome.

I just bought a 1984 Suzuki LT185 ATV and am looking for the OWNER’S manual. ( not a service manual)
I contacted Suzuki Canada but they have no paper or digital copies in their archives.
Does anyone possibly have a digital copy they’d be willing to share?

Guys, I've got a 1999 Honda Foreman 450S.  It runs great, but smokes out the exhaust after startup until it warms up.  I'm thinking the valve seals are leaking.  I was wondering if there is a way to replace them without removing the head or if there's an oil additive that will recondition the rubber seals.  Any advice?
