The plastic part holding the cable in the carb snapped and the spring is slipping out causing a really hi idle speed. I pushed it bacl kin dropping the idle so how can I fix it. woodstock88 Posted September 30, 2021 Share #2 Posted September 30, 2021 buy the kit its very easy to do im a motorcycle tech and those break all the time i broke one today. you unscrew it pull out the cable and sping and take off everything up to the rubber boot covering the plastic piece and just put on new pieces it goes rubber boot, plastic nut, spring, piece on end of cable. then screw it back in thats it. just remember its only supposed to be handtight Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
